California Clay bowls: Santa Rosa Clay and Pacifica Clay Slip Wares

These are clays of which I dug myself and "cleaned" and prepared for using as a slip for decoration.
The bowl on the blue background has three different clays from Pacifica and Santa Rosa, California. The foot base is clay
from Santa Rosa, the middle is Santa Rosa, and the
top is from Pacifica, California.

The two clays from Santa Rosa came from two different sites. One clay, is shinning and has a rich dark chocolate color
and the second is a reddish matt color.

Pacifica Clay fired

This is clay that I dug from a yard of where I lived in Pacifica, CA. It has rich chocolate flavors with diamond
like mica
that sparkles in the sun. I now use this clay as a slip for decoration.
